VIP visitors coming Sep 15; SL proposes thorough office cleaning to provide welcoming environment.
Office maintenance and cleaning discussed; much passing of buck.
STEVE VON POHL'S PLANS
SvP is burnt out and expects to leave in beginning of November 2006 to devote himself to fulltime translating work and newlywed house tasks; will continue until AA is on its feet. (Kamila moves that AA be funded only by membership, not other funds.)
New half-time (20 hrs/wk) webmaster will be needed. SvP proposes that people manage their own sections of website. Extra code work could be outsourced as needed. Randy urges that webmaster be hired from within the carfree movement. Kamila suggests that professional experience and an open mind should be primary criteria for new hire.
Steven asks Steve for staff web-development training; additionally, Randy requests website how-to manual (How-To ManuaL).

MULTITASKING vs. FOCUSED WORK (aka OFFICE ORGANISATION AND STAFFING)
Randy suggests that it is hard to be effective when pulled in too many different directions at same time. A meeting is called to re-establish focus and organize with an eye towards the future, using Airie's new work plan as basis for discussion. Meeting tentatively scheduled for November.
PRAGUE CARFREE DAY (Sep 16 - 17 2006)
Steven will set up booth and staff booth all day Saturday and Sunday, bringing items to event by bicycle. Kamila will also be there. Silkscreened bags will be sold for 150 CZK each. For first time, many materials will be in Czech (hooray!).
WORLD CARFREE DAY
Arie will be primary press contact. CARtoons will be released Fri Sep 22 after CM; Rob Z agrees to offer a few words.
MAGAZINE
Publish as .pdf only because distribution is too big a drag on time? Make it free with donation, or pay to access? This is starting point for further discussion.... Is magazine the best use of resources?
CONCLUSION
Less talk, more rock!
