• The necessary documents have been sent to EYF
• We have not yet received the contract for the EC youth core grant
• tomorrow we will start cleaning the office at 2 pm
• Eduardo is not approved as EVS due to change of rules in EVS from non-member countries, so Kamila will start going through applications for a June 1 deadline; Kamila will look for an EVS who has skills in working for a magazine
• there is a video contest on Youtube.com for bicycle related short films

1. Project Coordinator Updates
Visegrad Project

• Steven just came back from the third planning meeting of the project
• It was resolved that we would request three month extension of the project until September 2008 (whereupon Kamila advised asking for an extension to the end of the year, just to be safe)
• We discussed the sustainable transport mobility guide, which will be the final part of the project
• We also planned a common project for all four countries: a leaflet for car drivers

Christi

• finished stuff with EYF final report, did studies and reports page for Rob, doing research on potential grants we could apply for, including private funding
• She applied for a Social Venture grant for Carbusters magazine and we should here from them around now (they said they would have first round results on May 3)

2. EC Youth in Action Grant: Deadline May 30

• May 30 - deadline for EC youth in action for a programme called "Youth in the World"
• there needs to be four countries involved (one of them should be a third party country)
• we agreed that this could be good for a World Carfree Day planning kit
• the third country could be Columbia or Brazil: other countries: Russia, Czech Republic, Denmark, UK, etc.
• what would be useful to be in a carfree day planning kit for people who have never planned a carfee day before
• deadline for having partner organisations: May 15

3. Justin Hyatt working at the ICC

• Option C: Magazine Editor, Membership Coordinator, Istanbul Youth Exchange Coordinator, and World Carfree News
• He will come mid-June
• He should find out about how he will work here
• Christi will send to Steven necessary info for legal work for EU citizens

4. Harmonizing salaries

• Kamila has concerns that some people are making more money than others, because some are employed, some are on zivnostensky list, and others are on contract
• So, Radka will come up with an average salary that would apply to everyone, after all the necessary costs have been paid
