Announcements

• Sapi Ullrich from Germany will arrive in September to volunteer with us for six to eight weeks to assist with fundraising work etc.

• Lutra will come next week, when there will be a meeting with her, Kamila, Radka and Tanja. She also wishes to meet up with the boys during her Prague visit.

• In September Tanja will take a 7 to 10 day holiday. Theo will take a holiday from the 12th to the 27th of August.

• Tanja has written a call-out e-mail for assistance with coordination of the World Carfree Day to the large Carfree list, but has NO replies yet. We really need any help with the the event. Hopefully somebody from the SC or from the "internal -list " will give us a hand.

1. The Process for accepting new EVS volunteers

• What questions will we ask the candidates during their interviews

DECISION: We have decided upon the questions about what are their specific skills and how they can be applied to our need, their motivation for working with us and essential information about us.

2. Project description on the EVS Database

• How to go about changing some details

DECISION: Theo will ask Kamila about the process of changing the job description details on the EVS database.

3. TCC VIII & AGM Evaluations (Internal and External)

• Like all network projects, also the TCC and the AGM need to be evaluated in order improve the concepts and our own performance for the upcoming years and to grow and to develop as an organization.

DECISION: Tanja has contacted Randy and Justin for the internal evaluation, for the external one the Portland organizers and others who participated in a form or another will be invited to take part. AGM development is also listed in the SC's working agenda for this year.

4. Carfree Day

• We need someone immediately to do correspondence about cities needing our assistance with the World Carfree Day.

DECISION: Tanja will write to people for help. We will set up a wiki-page for organisations to affix and update their events.

5. Monthly Workplans

• There is a need to better monitor the work of staff members to evaluate our capacity for our ongoing and possible new projects and their coordination.
  

DECISIONS: Staff members will submit monthly work plans starting from August. The working hours will also be monitored to see how many hours we are putting things. Weekly updates will be given during the weekly meetings.

6. Project Plan for "Carbusters Online"

• After the magazine (issue 35#) is finished the next step is the website renovation.
  

DECISION: We'll have a meeting to discuss and start drafting the project plan for the Carbusters online in August.

7. Resource Centre

• The ordering of stickers and t-shirts
  

DECISION: We will contact Radka regarding whether we can order new stickers this week. The t-shirts may be delayed.

8. Holidays

• Tanja needed us to reiterate the holiday time already taken.
  

DECISION: Holiday times have been stated. Sam and Justin yet to announce.
