Announcements:

• Arie's holiday is moved probably til mid- to late-August.
• Energy Globe Award (international environmental award) is interested in having us apply for their award. They called and will send more info to info@worldcarfree.net.
• Rob: The magazine text deadline is Friday, effectively Monday morning.

Agenda items:

• 'One Less Car' stickers: Do we add thebiketour.net to them, or worldcarfree.net. No, we'll leave them the same and get special biketour stickers for next year.
• Arie: How do individuals become members (for our WCN Europe statutues). Randy: The AGM decision was to have them pay a membership fee to join, and people can request a fee waiver, which in the statutes should be specified as going to the Steering Committee. (The SC could then appoint its member Steve or anyone else to approve these waivers.) Individual members' rights and responsibilities. Rights: Receiving magazine, participating in AGM decision-making (optional), participating in network projects (optional), communication from ICC, being able to receive financial and other reports of org. Responsibilities: pay or request fee waiver, agree to Charter and Statutes.

The idea is to register the statutes now with the Czech authorities, and in the winter ask the SC to look them over and we can make specific changes all at once. They should be informed that Arie wrote up the statutes based as closely as possible to our current practice and past decisions.

• Arie: WCN Europe Workplan Meeting and 2007 Budget Planning. Arie has written up a 13-page workplan and a draft budget for 2007 and she wants there to be a meeting of about three people to review and develop it further. For example, we'll need to decide how we will contribute to EU policy discussions, which may affect the budget. We'll also need to look at the proposed staff additions. The meeting is to be Monday, 7 August with Arie, Steve, Randy and Kamila.
• Resource Centre: We'll wait to order copies of Ecocities until we receive the review copy. We'll order 10 copies of Car Sick and 10 copies of Cutting Your Car Use (NA version).
