Present: Steve, Steven, Vincent, Randy, Kamila, Roeland
Announcements:
- Steven will be in Berlin next week from Wednesday. Magazine to printer before then.
- Roeland will take next week off
- Kamila: we will institute separate accounting for every project in order to make accounting easier. It would make it easier to account the Biketour entirely in Euros; Radka is looking into the possibilities.
- Kamila: we almost never use fax but have a faxline for which we pay 700 crowns. Suggestion: ISDN? Could use it for internet as well.
- Steve not here on Friday
- Steering committee will be meeting Thursday at 10pm CET
Agenda:
1. AGM 2006 location
- Disadvantages for Bogota: exact location not known; new coordinator started this week (replaced Maria Escallon)
- Advantages for Bogota: less Euro-centric AGM, possible 'virtual' conference
- Disadvantages for Tabor: unfair to non-Europeans
- Advantages for Tabor: possible money for AGM from EU funds; many members are from Europe;
Proposed solutions: send out a form in which members can reply to AGM proposals
Europe would be easier and cheaper for us. The idealistic answer is Bogota; the practical answer is Tabor.
2. Resource Centre - Reordering, French books
- We need the following books: Geography of Nowhere, Street Reclaiming, Sustainablity and Cities. (See previous meetings for problems related to ordering.)
- We will order: 7 Geography of Nowhere, 3 Home from Nowhere (from US account); 20 Street Reclaiming (2 Airmail, 18 surface - from Australia); 6 Sustainability and Cities (3 airmail, 3 surface)
- One Less Car stickers: need to reorder. Vincent will make list of which languages are running low.
3. Magazine
- let's get it to the printer on Wednesday
- articles are printed out. Come and read them.
