Agenda:
1. Resource Centre - Infoshop
2. Sustainability and Cities
3. January Biketour meeting
4. New format for World Carfree News
5. Magazine #26
1. Resource Centre - Infoshop
- Gandalf is proposing to change the name of the Resource Centre to the Infoshop
- Everyone agrees that it is a good idea and on the site, in addition to the products, can be freesources and other information
- Relatedly, Randy suggested that the Carbusters subscription web page should be more clear and better organised
- Also, clarify and simplify mail order page
- Randy also suggested we use PayPal, instead of Kagi because each product can have their own "buy now" button, and you wouldn't have to go to a separate Kagi page
- Steve will check it out for next week's meeting
2. Sustainability and Cities
- This book is causing Gandalf problems
- He cannot get a wholesale price from the distributor, without any luck
- There are two or three outstanding orders
- For now, it will be removed from the resource centre, but Gandalf will continue to try and contact the distributors
3. January Biketour meeting
- Gandalf suggests Randy or Arie go to the meeting since they were involved in writing the grant
- It takes place on Jan. 22 in Studene, Czech Republic
- Randy will consider going
4. New format for World Carfree News
- We will make more in-brief items and shorten the headlined items
- we will also re-consider the layout of the in-briefs
5. Magazine #26
- The magazine will go to the printer on January 18
- we should have all of our texts submitted by Dec. 23
6. Workspaces
- People should have their individual workspaces
- This has all been worked out
