Updates

• Theo will be staying at the ICC as EVS until the 14th of January.
• Tanja and Lutra will finish the applications of the new EVS on Sunday.
• Carbusters no. 35 has shipped to distributors.
• A web meeting will be scheduled within the next two weeks, with the topic being the future of the WCN and CB websites and other online material, such as blog etc.
• Work is being undertaken currently for three grants.

Announcements

• A meeting with Jane and Marco (the new EVS) has been arranged for this evening.
• A team from ICC will cooperate in World Carfree Day events in Prague and in Pelhrimov, Czech Republic.

1. World Carfree Day tasks

• There are 3 different associated tasks: promotion (in our members and individuals), Press work, the wiki site.

Tanja will do online promotion for individuals. Justin will do member organisation outreach, promoting both the WCD and the wiki site. Chris is working on promoting the wiki site outside our network and writing the Press release. Theo will compile a Press list and help with the Press release.

If anybody reading these minutes wishes to volunteer, there is lots to do, please contact us.

2. EVS tasks

• Apart from what is found above, Chris, Sam and Theo will start working on issue 36 of Carbusters. Also, Theo will fix the computers. Chris will work on the formation of the Carbusters Editorial Committee.

3. Resource Centre

• There will be a meeting next week to arrange for new material to be added to the Resource Centre.

4. Contacting bloggers.

• We wish to start contacting the various bloggers related to carfree life. Theo will send them information about the WCN and Carbusters, the promo pdf and propose to send hard copies, if they want.
