World Carfree Network welcomes new member organisations. Groups that support our goals can join the network by downloading the network's charter, signing it, and sending it in to our Prague office.

Responsibilities of Member Organisations:
We encourage groups to maintain an active involvement in the network. The following guidelines are from Article 5 of the network statutes:
In order for a member organisation to maintain its membership status (once having signed the charter), the member organisation must fulfill at least three of the following criteria within each calendar year:
- publicise the work and goals of the network;
- send in news and/or campaign reports for the network's publications;
- attend the network's annual meeting, or submit written input on pertinent matters of network development/direction in advance of the meeting;
- include the "Member Organisation - World Carfree Network" logo/link (below) on the homepage of the organisation's website;
- be involved as a project coordinator or partner in at least one project or working group of the network;
- assist with the distribution of Carbusters magazine.
Membership fees:
The Network’s Annual General Meeting in 2008 decided that membership fees of organisations under the World Carfree Network umbrella have become obligatory *).The current annual rates are as follows:
- [$115 / 80€] NORMAL: This rate applies to medium-sized organisations.
- [$220 / 150€] FULL: This rate applies to larger organisations as well as those organisations who are financially able to, are encouraged to pay the full rate.
- [$60 / 40€] REDUCED: This rate applies to small organisations as well as those who face budget constraints.
Ten easy steps to become an active network member:
- Print out and send in your signed network charter
- Send in your annual membership fee
- Join the carfree_network discussion list
- Sign up for World Carfree News (monthly bulletin)
- Add the WCN logo/link to your website
- Add or verify your organisation's listing in the Carfree Green Pages
- Join an existing network project, or launch a new one
- Send in news/announcements for the magazine and bulletin (to info
 worldcarfree.net)
- Send in the annual member survey (when requested)
- Attend the network's annual meeting, or submit opinions/proposals in advance

We accept cheques from the USA and Britain. Please make cheques out to 'Car Busters.' Please note (Canadians especially) that US cheques must be drawn on a US bank (the bank address on the cheque must actually be in the USA).
We also accept international postal money orders (cashable in CZK or USD), and cash in EUR, GBP, AUD, CAD or USD.
