Towards Carfree Cities IX - Professionals' Day

Thursday 1 July 2010 is Professionals' Day at Towards Carfree Cities IX in York. The day's presentations and workshops will be accessible to all but are aimed in particular towards planners, developers, architects and professionals in fields related to transport and urban planning. There will be something for everyone. The aim is to enable professionals to implement carfree development or more generally minimise car dependence in their projects or municipality.

The event will be held within the medieval city walls of York at the Priory Street Centre, a short walk from the railway station. The centre is fully disabled accessible, has bicycle parking facilities and wireless Internet. The address is 15 Priory Street, York, YO1 6ET.
